In a highly anticipated move, pro BMX athlete, creative, and entrepreneur Nigel Sylvester has released a new commercial to announce his latest sneaker collaboration with Jordan Brand: the Better With Time Air Jordan 1 Low.

Set to a teaser of an unreleased A$AP Ferg song, “Bike Air Anthem” (dropping August 15), the video is a masterful showcase of athleticism and artistry. It features Nigel skillfully carving through the streets of New York City, channeling the vibrant energy of his hometown and returning to his truest BMX form. The commercial is a visually stunning narrative that captures the essence of Sylvester’s journey.

At the heart of the campaign is the Better With Time Air Jordan 1 Low, a pre-distressed version of the classic silhouette. This unique design is a powerful nod to how Nigel’s shoes naturally wear down during his BMX riding, with every scuff and scrape telling a story of a life lived in motion.

Releasing on August 16th, this AJ1 is the second iteration of Nigel’s collaboration with Jordan Brand. The distressed design is more than just a stylistic choice; it’s a profound tribute to growth, resilience, and evolution, symbolizing how a lifelong friendship, a bottle of fine wine, or a perfectly broken-in pair of Jordans only get better with time.
