Most Valuable Promotions First Event In Quebec For MVP 15 Championship Edition Feat. Sol Cudos vs. MVP’S Kim Clavel For IBF World Title

Most Valuable Promotions is bringing its Most Valuable Prospects series back to Canada with MVP 15: Championship Edition on Saturday, September 27, at Théâtre St-Denis in Montreal. The event will stream free worldwide on DAZN.com and the DAZN app.

The main event features IBF strawweight world champion Sol Cudos (10-0-2, 3 KOs) defending her title against MVP’s newest signee and Canadian boxing star Kim Clavel (21-2, 3 KOs). The co-main spotlight will shine on MVP’s two-time Canadian Olympian and top middleweight contender Tamm Thibeault (3-0, 2 KOs), while Montreal’s unbeaten Mazlum Akdeniz (21-0, 8 KOs) rounds out the main card.

On the prelims, rising 19-year-old Javon “Wanna” Walton (2-0-1, 1 KO) headlines alongside Ontario’s Amanda Galle (11-0-1, 1 KO), Costa Rica’s Naomy Valle (14-0, 9 KOs), and local prospects Omar Alieh (2-0, 2 KOs) and Loick Lahaie (2-0). Montreal native Ariel Helwani will join the broadcast as ringside reporter.

Clavel, born in Joliette, Quebec, has become one of Canada’s most celebrated fighters. A former WBC world champion, ESPY Award winner, and frontline nurse during the pandemic, she’s admired for her grit inside the ring and service outside of it. Now fighting under the MVP banner, she aims to reclaim championship gold in front of her home crowd.

“This is an honor and a motivation like no other,” Clavel said. “Being the headliner for MVP’s first event in Quebec makes this moment even more special. On September 27, Montreal will prove it’s the best city to host big events.”
