Omarion is stepping into a new chapter and letting fans know he is officially single. While in New York last week to sign a fresh deal with Create Music Group, the R&B star revealed his relationship status and hinted that he is open to the right kind of energy sliding into his messages.
Our friends at TMZ caught up with the “Icebox” singer while he greeted fans, asking the question everyone wanted answered. “Omarion, so we have to ask you, are you single?” the reporter said. With a smile, the B2K frontman replied, “I am.”
The conversation turned to whether women in his Gram comments have a shot at something more. “We have to ask you, do the girlies in your IG comments have a chance… At a date, maybe?” the reporter pressed. Omarion’s response was confident: “Of course. It’s all about the right conversation.”
When asked if he actually replies to direct messages, he kept it honest. “Sometimes… It depends,” he said.
Omarion’s personal life has often been a topic of public curiosity, especially during his past relationship with Apryl Jones. The two dated from 2013 to 2016, sharing two children, Megaa and A’mei. Their split was widely covered and featured on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
