Bambu De Pistola – by Loe Kee Phlicks

On Friday, October 10th, Los Angeles native Bambu De Pistola brought powerful energy and presence to The Paramount in Boyle Heights, headlining a night that celebrated community, culture, and lyrical mastery. Sharing the stage with him was Echo Park’s own Klassy, making for a dynamic pairing that highlighted the strength of LA’s underground hip-hop scene.

Bambu, who originally hails from Los Angeles but is currently based in the Bay Area, returned to his roots with a set that felt both personal and political. Known for his unapologetic lyrics and activism, he delivered a high-energy performance filled with crowd favorites and timeless tracks from his catalog. Fans in attendance were treated to a blend of hard-hitting verses and reflective moments, showcasing Bambu’s ability to balance raw lyricism with storytelling.

Throughout the night, his connection to the city was undeniable. From nods to local issues to interactions with the crowd, Bambu’s performance was more than just a show—it was a homecoming.

Klassy – by Loe Kee Phlicks

Opening the evening was Klassy, a rising voice in LA’s underground scene who brought her own fire to the stage. Her set featured a mix of older tracks and unreleased material, all delivered with sharp lyricism and a commanding presence. Klassy isn’t just an MC—she’s also a talented tattoo artist and creative force whose work is deeply rooted in community. Her performance wasn’t just about showcasing music—it was about creating a space for connection, identity, and resilience.

Together, Bambu and Klassy held down the stage with authenticity and intention, offering the audience more than entertainment—they gave them a night to remember. The Paramount pulsed with energy, unity, and the unmistakable heartbeat of LA hip-hop.
