Former WWE writer, WCW World Heavyweight Champion & Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling writer Vince Russo is now an investor of the Insane Clown Posse’s independent professional wrestling circuit promotion Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW) contradicting reports of him joining the septuagenarian National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) owned by Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. As much of a fan I personally have been of JCW Lunacy since last summer, I’m a bit skeptical of Russo’s involvement because of his history of killing WCW & almost killing TNA. We’ll have to wait & see how it plays out since he brought the clowns into WWE during the Attitude Era & later WCW when it was on its deathbed & the confirmation of him writing 9 episodes of JCW Lunacy already. JCW has featured wrestlers from around the world in their 25 year+ existence including talent from the NWA, TNA, Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), Major League Wrestling (MLW), WWE’s sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), the 2nd biggest American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW)/Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH), House of Glory (HoG) Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), 大日本プロレス (BJW) & the controversial Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW).
