Musalini – cred: Loe Kee Phlicks

On Friday, December 19th, Payday LA took over Hotel Ziggy in Hollywood for a packed night of underground hip-hop, headlined by rising sensation Musalini. The East Coast native made the trip from New York to Los Angeles to deliver an unforgettable set, performing standout tracks from his catalog while also giving fans a preview of upcoming, unreleased music. Backing him throughout the night was legendary producer and DJ Khrysis, who held down the ones and twos and kept the crowd locked in from start to finish.

The night kicked off with performances from a strong lineup of openers. Los Angeles up-and-comer K. Solar set the tone early, performing music from his latest album Zig Zag Ziz and energizing the crowd with his presence. Adding to the momentum, Louisiana native Alfred Banks took the stage next, bringing his high-energy performance style and keeping the room buzzing as the night continued. Together, the lineup created a memorable evening that highlighted both established talent and rising artists from across the country.
