Chicago based hip-hop artist Justin and the Honored None presents his introspective new album, ‘they said i was a ghost‘, a project shaped by the dual specters of personal grief and collective memory within Black life. Released on December 19th, the album expands from a space of processing loss into a broader meditation on history, place, and the persistent echoes of the past in the present, all while remaining deeply rooted in lived experience, relationships, and former selves. With production primarily handled by Ghowste and an additional track by Merf, the Honored None crafts a resonant, ghostly narrative that lingers long after the final note.
