Ice Cube and the BIG3 are making it clear that not every rising star will get the same massive offer Caitlin Clark did.

In case you missed it, last year, the rap icon and co-founder of the BIG3 shocked sports fans when he revealed a $5 million pitch to lure Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark to the three-on-three league. But don’t expect Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese to see that same deal on the table.

Speaking with our friends at TMZ Sports, Cube explained that Clark’s offer came after corporate sponsors gave the green light, saying they believed the move would create major buzz for the league. When it came to Reese, those same brands weren’t as confident in delivering that level of return.

“I don’t think we can make that same offer because it won’t have the same impact to the league,” Cube told TMZ. “They didn’t tell us the same thing about Angel Reese.”

While the $5 million figure was eye-popping, Clark turned down the opportunity. She instead entered the WNBA on a rookie deal worth just $76,535. But that salary barely put a dent in her earnings. According to Sportico’s Kurt Badenhausen, Clark has already pulled in an estimated $11 million in endorsements.

Reese, on the other hand, has carved her own lane without needing a BIG3 bag. The 23-year-old star forward is thriving both on and off the hardwood. She’s a top name in the new Unrivaled league, co-created by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, where she helped lead Rose BC to a title and secured a $50,000 bonus along with her base pay.

Off the court, her brand is booming. Reese recently got her own signature shoe with Reebok and graced the cover of NBA 2K26’s WNBA Edition. Her influence isn’t just in marketing, her game is leveling up too. Through 22 games with the Chicago Sky, she’s putting up 13.8 points per game while grabbing a dominant 12.5 rebounds and shooting nearly 45 percent from the field.

Looks like with Reese excelling more on the court she will find more checks off the court just fine.
