Hip-hop vlogger DJ Akademiks has announced he has been subpoenaed by Roc Nation for a deposition in Megan Thee Stallion’s ongoing defamation and cyberstalking lawsuit against fellow vlogger Milagro Gramz. This development signals a new phase in the legal battle that originated last year.
Last year, Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion filed a defamation of character and cyberstalking lawsuit against Milagro Gramz, a vlogger known for her pro-Tory Lanez commentary. The lawsuit alleged that Gramz engaged in a campaign to spread false narratives and defamatory statements about Megan Thee Stallion.

Speaking on a recent stream, Akademiks clarified his involvement, stating, “Long story short, Roc Nation hit me with a subpoena yesterday. I promise you. They hit me with a subpoena to be deposed. They’re not suing me or nothing, but they’re suing another blogger named Milagro over Tory Lanez. They’re suing Milagro over Tory Lanez for Meg. So, it’s Megan Thee Stallion versus the blogger, so they’re saying Tory had the blogger defame her.”
This subpoena suggests that Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team, backed by Roc Nation, is seeking to gather information and potentially connect alleged defamatory actions by Milagro Gramz to a broader strategy purportedly linked to Tory Lanez, who was convicted in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. The ongoing lawsuit aims to hold individuals accountable for spreading what Megan Thee Stallion deems as false and harmful information online.
