Young Thug just turned 34 and he has plenty of reasons to celebrate this year’s birthday. In addition to being a newly free man (after beating RICO charges against him earlier this year), he also appears to be very happy with his girlfriend, fellow artist Mariah the Scientist.
In a video shared to his IG story, Young Thug (real name Jeffery Lamar Williams) posted a story of the “Rear View” artist gifting him “his and hers” diamond bracelets at what appears to be his birthday celebration.
The gold and diamond encrusted chain she gifted him to wear said “RYRY” (obviously a nickname for her) while hers said “JEFFY” (again, a nickname for the rapper’s legal name).
Other clips from the birthday party show Mariah letting a tarantula walk all over her hand and arm. The tarantula is likely a nod to her nickname for Young Thug, which is a reference to the rapper’s nickname and his clothing brand. (Mariah also has a spider tattoo on her ankle.)
Thug has shown his support and appreciation for Mariah in the past, promoting her upcoming album on his IG back in July along with a picture of the couple to her “Burning Blue” track.
