Atlanta rap superstar Gunna, four-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated and multi-platinum artist, will host the first-ever “WUNNA RUN 5K” on September 3, 2025, at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York. The event will be presented in partnership with Gunna’s nonprofit, Gunna’s Great Giveaway, and NYCRUNS.

Free registration for participants is now open. Bib pick-up begins at 4:00 p.m., closes at 5:30 p.m., and the race officially starts at 6:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to support charitable causes through optional donations.

“Throughout the last couple of years, I’ve evangelized the life-changing effect of health and wellness at every turn,” Gunna said. “The ‘WUNNA RUN 5K’ represents a natural progression for me as I welcome everyone to run with me.”

The event reflects Gunna’s growing dedication to physical fitness and community engagement, arriving alongside his expanding entrepreneurial pursuits. He recently became co-owner of Flerish Hydration and invested in wellness brand Cymbiotika, further cementing his commitment to health and lifestyle innovation.

In addition to his fitness initiatives, Gunna recently released his sixth studio album, The Last Wun, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, marking his sixth consecutive Top 3 debut. The album has been widely praised for showcasing his artistic evolution and unique voice as a generational talent.

The “WUNNA RUN 5K” promises to blend fitness, philanthropy, and community, inviting fans and newcomers alike to participate in an event that highlights wellness, giving, and Gunna’s continued influence both in music and beyond.

For more information and registration, participants can visit Gunna’s official event page and join the movement toward health, wellness, and community engagement.
