The Source |New Balance and Foot Locker Drop “Desert Heat” Collection

New Balance and Foot Locker have teamed up to release the exclusive “Desert Heat” collection, a new pack that blends heritage style with modern, performance-driven design. The collection, which will be available at select Foot Locker stores and online starting August 28, was recently showcased by NFL wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

The collection features two classic silhouettes: the late-’90s M1000 and the 2000s-inspired 1906R. Each model comes in a striking black-based colorway with vibrant, eye-catching accents.

The New Balance M1000, a millennium classic brought back from the archives, features inverted mesh overlays and synthetic panels for a tech-inspired look. It will be available in a Black/Pink colorway for $150 in both men’s and women’s sizing, as well as a Black/Pink/Green option for grade school sizes at $105.

The New Balance 1906R, inspired by 2000s running shoe designs, combines a breathable mesh upper with superior shock absorption. The women’s model, priced at $155, comes in a Black/Multi colorway. A youth-exclusive version, the 1906 (GS), will also be available for $110 in grade school sizing.

The “Desert Heat” collection aims to merge bold design with comfort, offering fans a unique pack that captures the energy of both performance and statement-making style.
