In a new episode of Perspektives with Bank, Young Thug admitted that what hurts most is not just the legal drama but Gunna’s silence after making his controversial plea deal. “Gunna, you my brother. I love you to death… Why you ain’t gave me an explanation?” Thug asked, showing that what he truly expected was accountability.

“Even if I don’t want to hear it, you still supposed to be a real… say it,” he added. Thug reflected on the history they shared, reminding listeners, “We done made all the millions in the world together. I gave you the millions. How can you just do what you did to me and then just go live your life? Like ain’t nothing happened?”

Thug’s words trace back to Gunna’s 2022 Alford plea in the high profile YSL RICO case, a move that some fans and peers viewed as betrayal. Gunna has insisted he never turned on YSL and has always denied cooperating, but the plea left a cloud of doubt hanging. For Thug, the sharpest cut seems to be that Gunna never reached out with a personal explanation.

Still, Thug’s emotions revealed more layers in another appearance on the same platform. He admitted that time behind bars has shifted his perspective. “I love you bruh… I poured so much into him, I can’t even hate him,” Thug said. “In jail I thought I hated him… but I don’t wish no ill will on him — no ill feelings at all.”

What remains clear is that the pain of loyalty questioned weighs heavy on Thug, even as he makes it known that his bond with Gunna, complicated as it is, cannot erase the love they once built together.
