New reported updates about Diddy’s sentence and what awaits him once he completes his prison term. The Bad Boy Records founder, convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, received a sentence of 50 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

All pretty standard stuff, tbh.

According to court filings obtained by our friends at TMZ, once Diddy leaves prison, he will be under close supervision and must follow several conditions set by the court. He will be required to take part in outpatient programs focused on both substance abuse and mental health, submit to random searches, and avoid any communication with the victims involved in his case. Diddy will also have to complete a court-approved domestic violence program as part of his supervised release.

Again, no surprise there.

Get this, Judge Arun Subramanian delivered the ruling earlier this month, sentencing Diddy to four years and two months behind bars. While a jury cleared him of the more severe charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, the conviction on prostitution-related offenses still carried significant consequences. The music mogul has already served 13 months at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, which will count toward his total sentence. In addition, he was ordered to pay a $500,000 fine.

But wait, as for where he will serve the remainder of his time, that decision remains pending. Diddy’s attorney, Teny Geragos, submitted a formal request asking the court to recommend that he be moved to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, citing the facility’s drug rehabilitation programs and proximity to his family.

“In order to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts, we request that the Court strongly recommend to the Bureau of Prisons that Mr. Combs be placed at FCI Fort Dix for RDAP purposes and any other available educational and occupational programs,” Geragos wrote in the letter to Judge Subramanian.
