Gucci Mane addressed a past jab from Young Thug during a leaked jailhouse call, saying he’s already let it go and accepted the apology.

The Atlanta rapper made the remarks during an appearance on the “Big Facts Podcast,” where he opened up about the moment he heard Thug’s remorse on the track “I Miss My Dogs.”

“I immediately accepted the apology ’cause I done been there, and I wanted somebody to forgive me,” Gucci said on the show.

The original controversy began when a recorded phone call surfaced after Thug’s release from jail.

The audio captured Young Thug calling Gucci Mane “soft” for maintaining ties with Quality Control Music CEO Pierre “P” Thomas in the wake of snitching allegations.

Gucci explained that his decision was rooted in empathy and personal growth. He reflected on a time when he had to ask for forgiveness himself, specifically from Drake.

“I said some b####### about Drake, text him some crazy,” he explained. “But I was going through an episode, so I kind of had to hit him back and be like, ‘I’m sorry about that. I was going through something.’ And he was like, ‘Man, you know we going to get past that. Brothers go through stuff.’ Bro, it felt so good that people understood.”

The interview comes on the heels of Gucci Mane’s latest projects, his memoir Episodes, released October 14, and a 23-track album of the same name, which dropped October 17.

Both works dive into his personal battles with addiction, mental health and trauma, offering an unfiltered look at his journey.
