Step into the frame with renoun artist and curator Isaac Pelayo for a groundbreaking group exhibition in Los Angeles, ‘OBSCURA’, through the lenses of the culture. “This show features work from established artists and emerging artists from all walks of life with one thing in common, an eye for the culture.” Pelayo explains his passion for the project: “I wanted to curate a group show of young photographers that I respected, admired, and believed in. I have a passion for photography myself though I don’t consider myself a photographer by any means but I appreciate the craft.” That deep appreciation fuels this free, all-ages event on February 5th from 7-10 PM at MONOCHROME GALLERY in Los Angeles, promising an unfiltered look at the pillars of street life.

The showcase presents a powerful roster of visual storytellers, including Brendan North, CJ Wallace, Rene Casamalhuapa, Raven Duran, and Adrian Cabral. They’re joined by the lenses of NOBODY PHOTOGRAPHY, Nicky Films, Rafael A. Rodriguez, Tiffany “Just Rock” Brown, and Larsen Sotelo. Completing this curated vision are Carlos Jaramillo, Dustin Shepard, Jacen Carpenter, Angles by M, Neery Hernandez, Matthew Romasanta, Migella Accorsi, and 1000WORDS. Together, their work captures the raw essence of street culture, music, fashion, lifestyle, and human nature, offering a collective portrait of the movement from the inside out.
