Allegedly Punched Police Officer Twice

Rapper Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested last week on a misdemeanor charge of battery on a police officer in Los Angeles. The arrest followed a bizarre encounter with authorities that reportedly turned physical.

According to a Page Six report, police were initially dispatched to Ventura Boulevard before 6 a.m. after receiving calls about a “nude man walking in the street.” Officers arrived to find the 26-year-old artist wandering in his underwear and a pair of white cowboy boots.

During the incident, Lil Nas X allegedly got into a physical dispute with one of the officers. While the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Page Six that the rapper was booked with a misdemeanor charge of battery on a police officer, they did not provide further details. However, NBC reported that a source familiar with the incident said Lil Nas X “punched an officer twice in the face during the encounter.” The LAPD declined to comment on the specific claim.
