Atlanta’s own K Camp is having a standout season, fresh off the release of his KISS 6 album and tour. But music is not the only thing keeping him in the headlines. The rapper has also been making waves with his high-profile crushes, most recently actress LisaRaye McCoy.

On Thursday, September 4, LisaRaye attended Ellaé Lisqué’s 10 Year Anniversary Fashion Show, where she addressed Camp’s playful remarks about her on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast. During the appearance, she told TMZ, “I have not [met K Camp] … So who knows, maybe when he see me and if he see me, we’ll see. I don’t know him, and he doesn’t know me, and I’m so sure that we can strike up something out of mutual conversation.”

The exchange arrives just weeks after K Camp publicly shot his shot at Ari Lennox during The Shade Room Live. He later previewed a new clip with the singer, adding fuel to the speculation around their connection.

For now, fans are watching closely to see if sparks fly between K Camp and LisaRaye. From 90’s sex symbols to R&B favorites, the Atlanta hitmaker seems to be on a roll with his celebrity crushes. Whether the playful banter leads to something more remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: K Camp’s charisma is keeping him in the spotlight both on and off stage.
