New York, NY — What began as an influential live speaker series is now evolving into one of culture’s most compelling conversation platforms. PLLRS continues to deepen its storytelling legacy through Won of One: A PLLRS Podcast — a series built around raw honesty, creative ambition, and the untold realities behind success.

Now 13 episodes in, Won of One has quickly carved out its own lane, bringing listeners into intimate conversations with artists, innovators, and cultural leaders shaping today’s creative landscape. One of the podcast’s most talked-about episodes to date features Bronx rapper ScarLip, whose emotional transparency and fearless perspective made for a standout moment in the series.

During the episode, ScarLip reflects on her rise from homelessness to becoming one of hip-hop’s most recognizable new voices, revealing how Swizz Beatz stepped in during one of the lowest points in her life.

“When Swizz Beatz first discovered me, and I had ‘This is New York,’ I was homeless,” ScarLip shared. “Swizz put me in a place to stay until I got my deal.”

The conversation moves far beyond headlines and viral clips, showcasing the depth behind an artist often reduced to internet moments. ScarLip speaks candidly about protecting her peace, rebuilding her image, and shifting focus back to the music.

“I’m trying to keep my private life to myself,” she explained. “I want a clean name for myself.”

She also revealed unexpected creative ambitions, naming dream collaborators ranging from Doechii and JT to pop superstar Billie Eilish.

“I have the perfect song for Billie.”

More than just an interview platform, Won of One is becoming a space where public figures reclaim their narratives. The series strips away industry polish and social media noise, allowing audiences to connect with the discipline, setbacks, and personal breakthroughs that fuel success.

At the center of those conversations is Reg Calixte, CEO and Founder of Little Engine Media and co-creator of PLLRS. Known for his thoughtful approach and deep understanding of culture, Reg brings a rare balance of curiosity, creativity, and authenticity to every episode. His ability to make guests feel comfortable while uncovering meaningful, behind-the-scenes moments has become a defining element of the podcast’s identity.

“Won of One is about peeling back the layers and creating space for real stories,” said Reg Calixte. “We wanted conversations that feel honest, human, and inspiring without forcing perfection.”

PLLRS was co-created by Keith Nelson Jr., Reg Calixte, and Rose M. Mercado — a trio dedicated to elevating authentic storytelling through journalism, visual media, and community-driven conversations.

As PLLRS expands into podcasting, the mission remains the same: spotlight voices that inspire, challenge perspectives, and leave a lasting cultural impact.
