What started as a regular podcast appearance for Adrien Broner ended in chaos; Broner was cut from It Is What It Is(hosted by Cam’ron, Ma$e, Stat Baby, and Arabia) after remarks toward Stat Baby, aka Treasure Wilson, crossed the line.
Broner was on to talk about big fights like Canelo vs. Terence Crawford, but things went sideways when he started making flirtatious comments toward Stat Baby. He complimented her looks in ways that made the room uncomfortable, comparing her to singers, asking her about her weight, and blurting out “I love you.” The vibe got weird fast; Stat Baby and others looked visibly uncomfortable. Cam’ron tried multiple times to steer the conversation back, but Broner just kept pushing.
Eventually, Cam’ron shut it down. He asked Broner to leave mid-show, paid him for his time, and made it clear some lines can’t be crossed. According to reports, Broner’s delivery was off; his speech slurred, tone weird, some said possibly drunk or not all there. But whatever was going on, his comments toward Stat Baby pushed it past whatever leniency the show would allow.
Fans on social media are praising Cam’ron for holding down the show and protecting his co-host. Many pointed out how uncomfortable Stat Baby looked, and how Broner’s behavior showed a lack of respect; especially in a public setting. Broner hasn’t spoken out since the incident, but the backlash is real.
