Looks like Cardi B is facing legal heat just as she prepares to drop her much-anticipated album Am I The Drama? this fall. Artists Joshua Fraustro, known as Sten Joddi, and Miguel Aguilar, known as Kemikal956, have filed a lawsuit claiming her single “Enough (Miami)” borrows heavily from their 2021 track Greasy FryBread.

Get this, the two artists are asking the court for an injunction to keep “Enough (Miami)” off the album entirely. Their attorney, Robert Flores, says the harm to his clients would be severe if the song is released. “The damages to plaintiffs will not only be irreparable, but almost impossible to calculate,” Flores stated, adding that removing one song from a 23-track project would be far less disruptive than allowing a possible copyright violation to reach the public.

What’s more, if the court sides with the plaintiffs, “Enough (Miami)” could be taken down from streaming platforms and banned from performance, sales, or monetization until the matter is settled. Whether it will appear on Am I The Drama? remains up in the air.

Flores also claims the track is central to the album’s promotion, though no official tracklist has confirmed its inclusion. Pre-save links on Spotify and other platforms currently exclude the single. Neither Cardi B nor Atlantic Records has publicly addressed the lawsuit, and it is unclear if they will respond through court filings.

For now, fans are looking ahead to her next release, “Imaginary Players,” set to drop Friday, August 15, giving a taste of the album before its scheduled September 19 release. Cardi B has already moved to have the case dismissed, arguing that Fraustro and Aguilar did not properly register their copyright.
