Well, check this out … Offset is speaking openly about the part he played in the breakdown of his marriage to Cardi B.

In case you missed it, in a recent conversation with Ebro, the rapper admitted to his missteps, saying, “I f***ed up… I gotta acknowledge that and then get back on the journey… I’ve accepted the actions I’ve done to cause certain situations to happen.”

Ge this, the comments come as Cardi B moves forward with divorce proceedings, which TMZ reports have been building for some time. After nearly seven years together, a source close to the situation said, “it’s been a long time in coming” and that “they’re just disconnected from each other.”

Cardi had already hinted at the separation last December during a live stream on the Gram, telling fans, “I’ve been single for a minute now. I just [didn’t] know how to tell the world.”

In case you really missed this part, earlier this month, Offset filed an amended divorce response requesting spousal support from Cardi B. While no specific amount was listed, the move signals a shift in the tone of their split, which had previously seemed financially amicable. His request reportedly cites the difference in their net worths, with Cardi B estimated at $80 to $100 million and Offset around $30 million.

Along with spousal support, Offset is seeking joint custody of their three children, with Cardi B’s home serving as their primary residence. Despite the legal negotiations, both have agreed to handle their own legal costs.

Another day, more drama in the wonderful world of Hip Hop.
