Complex and ESPN have officially teamed up to launch a multi-week partnership, celebrating the grand opening of the new Complex New York flagship store in SoHo and the debut of the enhanced ESPN app. The collaboration, which runs from August 22 through September 6, brings together the worlds of sports, culture, and fashion.

The launch event was headlined by a performance from the legendary hip-hop duo The Clipse, who took the stage on September 22, 2025. The duo performed their classic hits and songs from their new album, energizing the crowd and marking a major moment for the celebration.

The partnership transforms the Complex New York store into an “ESPN universe.” The space features a massive display of stacked CRT TVs, LED panels, and flat screens showcasing ESPN highlights and throwback footage. Attendees can also interact with the legendary SportsCenter desk, explore rare archival apparel, and purchase exclusive merchandise.

As part of the multi-week activation, Complex will host an ESPN US Open Watch Party on Saturday, August 30. The event will be open to the public, offering fans a chance to watch live US Open matches and key college football matchups while taking photos at the SportsCenter desk.

The collaboration will also feature a special partnership with streetwear brand Hellstar. From September 5-6, Complex will present an exclusive ESPN x Hellstar collection alongside Hellstar’s 5-Year Anniversary Collection. The store will undergo a complete Hellstar takeover for the event, with the limited-edition merchandise available exclusively at the Complex NY location.
