Tomorrow, We Eating Steaks: AJ Snow, Kool Kid Kalvo & Jansport J Serve a Golden Era Feast

AJ Snow, Kool Kid Kalvo, and Jansport J Deliver a Stellar Album with Tomorrow, We Eating Steaks

AJ Snow, Kool Kid Kalvo, and producer Jansport J team up to drop Tomorrow, We Eating Steaks — a soulful, all-star collaboration rooted in raw lyricism, golden-era energy, and themes of self-worth, hustle, and success.

“Self Mastery” opens the album with Snow reflecting on the personal growth and transformation he’s undergone. Kalvo complements this energy, setting the tone with a powerful verse about their path to success and the sacrifices they’ve made to get there.

“Bottega Louie” finds Kalvo and Snow embracing a luxurious lifestyle while brushing off negativity.
“Loose My Mind” continues with themes of confidence, focus, and a player’s mindset. The artists highlight mental strength, choosing peace over drama, and knowing your value in relationships and in life.

“Love Jones” dives into a relationship built on loyalty, love, and emotional support.
“Boomerang” reflects on past experiences and how those moments shaped their growth.
“Sand in My Nike Cortez” is a standout with a heavy West Side feel, sampling Ice Cube’s You Know How We Do It — a clear homage to LA roots.
“Nobu” brings a laid-back, reflective energy, touching on wealth, women, and staying grounded through success.

“Uber Black” digs into entrepreneurship, independence, and leveling up financially and mentally.
“Joshua Tree” captures the balance between hard times and appreciating success.
The album wraps with “Miami Vice,” a track focused on loyalty, resilience, and rising above the struggle.

AJ Snow and Kool Kid Kalvo deliver masterful lyricism from start to finish, painting vivid pictures with gritty honesty and smooth delivery. With Jansport J’s soulful production as the backdrop, Tomorrow, We Eating Steaks feels like a modern classic — equal parts hunger and confidence, wrapped in that timeless West Coast flavor.

Album Rating: 10/10
