Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Netflix have announced a blockbuster showdown between Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis, set for Friday, Nov. 14, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The fight will stream live globally, at no additional cost, to Netflix’s 300 million subscribers.

Paul, ranked #14 by the WBA at cruiserweight, enters the bout with a 12-1 record and seven knockouts. Davis, undefeated at 30-0-1 with 28 knockouts, is the reigning WBA world champion and regarded as one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport. The matchup has been years in the making, fueled by callouts and rivalry between the fighters.

Paul returns to Netflix after headlining Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November 2024, which drew 108 million live viewers worldwide. He recently defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. to secure his WBA ranking. Known for his disruptive impact on boxing, Paul has beaten names such as Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz while elevating the sport through fighter pay advocacy and support for women’s boxing.

“Gervonta is an angry little elf who has been disrespecting my name for too long,” Paul said. “His nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable his ass.”

Davis, widely called the modern-day Mike Tyson, has built a reputation as one of boxing’s most feared punchers. The Baltimore native turned professional at 18 and captured his first world title in 2017 by defeating Jose Pedraza. He has since won titles in three divisions, scored highlight-reel knockouts, and headlined record-breaking events. Davis’ 2023 stoppage of Ryan Garcia solidified his claim as the face of boxing.

“Jake Paul and Tank Davis have redefined the professional combat sports landscape as the top fighters among Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences,” said MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian. “Now they will collide to determine the true face of boxing’s next generation.”

Netflix executives see the fight as a continuation of the platform’s push into live sports. “This isn’t just a fight, it’s a spectacle that brings together two of the most electrifying figures in boxing today,” said Brandon Riegg, Netflix VP of nonfiction series and sports.

Tickets for Jake vs. Tank go on sale next month at Ticketmaster.com, with fans able to register for pre-sale at JakevsTank.com. VIP options, including the MVP Owner’s Experience, will also be available.

Additional details, including the co-main event and undercard, will be announced in the coming weeks.
