Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Force Game 4 In ALDS After 8-4 Rally Win Against Blue Jays

The New York Yankees refused to go quietly in the ALDS, storming back with an 8-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night to force a crucial Game 4 at Yankee Stadium. Facing elimination after falling behind 0-2 in the series, New York’s offense erupted late, sparked by two of their biggest stars, Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr.., who fueled the comeback that kept the Yankees’ postseason alive.

Toronto jumped out to an early lead thanks to a two-run blast by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., continuing his hot streak after a Game 2 grand slam that buried the Yankees in a 13-7 loss. But this time, New York answered back. Down 4-2 in the sixth, the Yankees flipped the momentum with a four-run inning capped by Judge’s towering three-run homer into the second deck in left field, sending the Bronx crowd into a frenzy.

“It was do-or-die,” Judge said postgame. “We weren’t ready to pack it in. We believe in this team and in the fight we have.”

Chisholm, who went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored, added insurance with a line-drive single in the eighth that plated two more runs and sealed the win. His energy and aggressive baserunning provided the spark New York had been missing in the first two games of the series.

The Yankees bullpen was also sharp, tossing four scoreless innings to slam the door on a dangerous Toronto lineup. Clay Holmes worked a clean ninth to secure the save and extend the series to Game 4.

“We knew we had to respond,” manager Aaron Boone said. “This team has taken punches all season, and every time, they’ve answered. Tonight was about resilience.”

The series now shifts to a pivotal Game 4, with momentum swinging back toward New York as they try to even the series and force a decisive Game 5 in Toronto. All eyes will be on how the Yankees build on this rallying performance and whether Judge and Chisholm can continue to deliver when it matters most.
