50 Cent mocked Starz’s $53 million quarterly loss in an Instagram post after walking away from the network.

50 Cent wasted no time dragging STARZ across social media after the network reported a staggering $53 million loss and a sharp drop in revenue. The rapper-turned-television producer took to Instagram to mock the struggling premium service.

“See what happens when I stop working,” he wrote. “Let’s make STARZ great again. MSGA.”

50 Cent’s jab came just hours after STARZ’s third-quarter 2025 earnings report revealed the company’s revenue had slipped eight percent year-over-year, falling to $321 million from $347 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Executives at STARZ blamed the financial nosedive on multiple factors, including its ongoing split from parent company Lionsgate.

But the numbers paint a bleak picture for a platform that once leaned heavily on 50 Cent’s G-Unit Film & Television to drive subscriber interest. The Power franchise, a cornerstone of the network’s programming slate, remains one of its few consistent performers.

However, the relationship between 50 Cent and STARZ has been strained for years, marred by public spats over scheduling delays, contract disputes and creative disagreements.

Back in 2022, 50 Cent announced he was walking away from his overall deal with STARZ.

Though he kept his executive producer title on existing series, he made it clear he was done playing nice. That same year, he urged viewers to boycott the network until his shows returned to air.

In August, he posted a blunt “good bye” to STARZ after the company reported a $42.5 million loss and declining subscriber numbers. The writing was already on the wall, but 50 Cent’s latest post feels like a final nail in the coffin.

With 50 Cent now publicly distancing himself and the network bleeding revenue, STARZ’s future in the competitive streaming landscape looks increasingly unstable.
