Mayor Eric Adams has announced the return of the “Rise Up NYC” summer concert series, delivering 10 free outdoor concerts across all five boroughs. Now in its fourth season, the expanded series is part of Adams’ “We Outside Summer” initiative to create safe, vibrant public events throughout New York City.
This Saturday, August 2, legendary R&B artist Johnny Gill will be honored with the prestigious ‘Entertainers’ Key to the City’ in Harlem on 125th Street. The special presentation by Mayor Adams will include a live performance from Gill in front of thousands of fans.
Gill, known for his decades of chart-topping hits, will also release a new single titled “ONE NIGHT” on August 22 through his label partnership with The SRG Group | Virgin Music. The song is currently available for pre-order.
