The heart of Brooklyn sets the stage for an emotional triangle in the upcoming film Love, Brooklyn, starring André Holland, Nicole Beharie, and DeWanda Wise. The newly released trailer gives a glimpse into the layered dynamics of past love, present connection, and the uncertain space in between.

In the film, Holland plays a writer caught in a complicated emotional limbo. He’s still in close contact with his ex, played by Beharie, who runs an art gallery. But things become increasingly messy as he tries to build a future with his new partner, portrayed by Wise, a recently single mother navigating her own healing journey.

The official synopsis lays it out: “A writer (Holland) navigates complicated relationships with his ex, an art gallery owner (Beharie), and his current lover, a newly-single mother (Wise), with the support of his best friend (Roy Wood Jr.).”

The cast also includes Cassandra Freeman and Cadence Reese, adding further depth to a story rooted in love, vulnerability, and personal growth.

Holland not only stars but also steps behind the scenes as a producer, working alongside Kate Sharp, Patrick Wengler, Maurice Anderson, and Liza Zusman. The film has some heavyweight backing with Steven Soderbergh on board as executive producer, joined by Jeffrey Deary, Andy Steinman, Brian Katz, Thomas Zambeck, Alexander Leff, and Rachael Abigail Holder.

Love, Brooklyn made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, where it earned buzz for its soulful storytelling and grounded performances. Greenwich Entertainment has since picked up the film for distribution.
