The Source |Bad Bunny’s ‘No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí’ Residency Goes Global, Fans Swipe In From Around the World

It’s been one month since Bad Bunny lit up San Juan’s iconic El Choli with his No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí residency and now, the fever is officially spreading beyond Puerto Rico as fans worldwide look for their chance to join the party.

Since the January announcement, Tinder has been feeling the Bad Bunny effect in a big way. The dating app reports nearly a 13% spike in bios mentioning the superstar, with men name-dropping him almost 200% more often than women. Whether they scored tickets or not, fans are finding creative ways to connect to the moment and Tinder’s data proves it.

From the start of July 2025, swipe activity in Puerto Rico has jumped 35%, while Tinder Passport™ Mode, which lets users change their location, has surged nearly 52% toward San Juan. Outside of the U.S., the top three countries using Passport Mode to digitally land in Puerto Rico are the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Spain. Stateside, Florida, New York, and Texas are leading the charge.

The Bad Bunny love is also blasting through Spotify Anthems on Tinder profiles. Florida, New Jersey, and Rhode Island claim the top spots for U.S. states where he’s the #1 artist, while Mexico, Spain, and Colombia hold the crown internationally. As for the most popular tracks from Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana? Tinder users can’t get enough of DtMF, BAILE INOLVIDABLE, and NUEVAYoL.
