Detroit’s own Baby Smoove is bringing his Purple Heart Tour to Los Angeles for a Sunday night showcase at The Regent Theater. The show goes down on Sunday, November 8, 2026, with doors opening at 7:00 PM and the performance starting at 8:00 PM. This is an All Ages event, and VIP Meet & Greet packages are available—though note that the meet & greet will take place post-show . The Regent Theater is located at 448 S. Main St. in Downtown LA, and tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster and the venue’s official site.
Baby Smoove—born Jaelin Parker—has spent the last several years cementing his reputation as one of Detroit’s most distinctive voices. He first caught attention with his 2019 SoundCloud single “CardoGotWings,” which Pitchfork highlighted as a “must-hear rap song of the day,” and he followed that buzz with a prolific run of projects including Flawless, Mr. Perfect, and the tour’s namesake mixtape, Purple Heart . His style is defined by what The Fader described as “slick one-liners and clever storytelling delivered in a subdued, almost disinterested, flow”—a quiet intensity that sets him apart from the louder corners of rap . With Purple Heart originally arriving in August 2019 and a steady stream of releases since, this tour marks a full-circle moment for a project that helped define his early run . For fans of Detroit’s underground scene and laid-back, story-driven rap, this Regent Theater date is one to circle.
