Clipse Drop New Studio Album 'Let God Sort Em Out'

Clipse is back on the charts in a big way. The Virginia duo’s new album Let God Sort Em Out debuts at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, earning 118,000 equivalent album units in its first week. The release marks Clipse’s first project in nearly 16 years and their second top 10 album, matching the No. 4 debut of their 2002 classic Lord Willin’.

The album dropped July 11 and features 12 tracks on the standard edition, with an additional bonus track available via streaming and digital download. Physical sales helped drive first-week numbers, thanks to a wide release that included multiple vinyl and CD variants, cassettes, and deluxe boxed sets sold through the group’s webstore.

Of the 118,000 units, 59,000 came from streaming, equaling 77.49 million official on-demand plays — the biggest streaming week in Clipse’s career. Another 58,000 came from album sales, while 1,000 units were attributed to track-equivalent sales.

Let God Sort Em Out arrives as a full-circle moment for Clipse, who hadn’t released an album since Til the Casket Drops in 2009. Led by the single “Ace Trumpets,” the project reaffirms the duo’s staying power in a new era of hip-hop.
