Eghoza Drops Emotionally Charged Hip-Hop Single “Homicide” About Love and Betrayal

Eghoza’s musical journey began at age 14, but it was when he stepped out on his own at 17 that his artistry took a serious turn. Despite losing early backing from DJs, he remained committed to his craft, determined to tell stories that matter. Nigerian-born artist Eghoza makes a gripping return with his latest single, “Homicide”—a bold hip-hop track that digs deep into the emotional wreckage of love gone wrong. With sharp lyricism and a head-nodding beat, the song delivers a raw, relatable narrative about heartbreak, betrayal, and the complicated search for closure.

A Track Born from Heartbreak and Hard Truths

Drawing from personal experience, Eghoza channels his emotions into a track that feels both intimate and universal. “Homicide” explores the darker side of love—the moments when trust shatters, respect vanishes, and you’re left clinging to something that’s already over.

Turning Pain Into Purpose

“This song is about closure—or realizing you might never get it,” Eghoza explains. “It’s for anyone who’s loved someone who didn’t value their time.” His storytelling hits home with anyone who’s endured a painful breakup, offering a cathartic release through rhythm and rhyme.

The Studio Session That Brought “Homicide” to Life

Recorded at Etbaudiovisual Studio in Charlton, the track’s soundscape was shaped by producer Beach Boyy, who laid down the instrumental, while Ziey Kizzy handled the mixing and mastering to deliver a clean, impactful final product. The result is a sonically captivating single that balances emotional depth with commercial appeal.

Eghoza’s Genre-Defying Style and Global Vision

Rather than confine himself to a single genre, Eghoza embraces a borderless approach to music—blending influences from his Nigerian roots with inspiration from around the world. His curiosity about different cultures and lived experiences comes through in every song. “Homicide” marks a pivotal point in his evolution, both as an artist and as a storyteller.

With early buzz building, “Homicide” is set to leave a mark on listeners worldwide. It’s more than just a breakup song—it’s a powerful reflection on love, loss, and learning to let go.
