Eminem’s daughter, Alaina Scott, defended herself against pregnancy body-shaming online in a lengthy Instagram post.

Eminem‘s daughter, Alaina Scott, called out online commenters for body-shaming her after a photo of her leaving a workout class while pregnant was reposted without her consent.

The 32-year-old addressed the criticism in a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday (October 22) after discovering the image—showing her in red leopard-print leggings and a gray T-shirt—had been shared by another account.

The caption referenced her recent pregnancy announcement, but she said the replies zeroed in on her figure.

“A random photo of me was taken in this outfit while leaving somewhere and posted online,” Scott wrote. “Normally I seriously do not care about negative comments. However, the caption to said photo read since posting about her ‘pregnancy news.’ Yet the comments talk about my body size.”

Scott, who married Matt Moeller in June 2023 in Michigan, revealed earlier this month that the couple is expecting their first child—a baby girl. She used the moment to shut down assumptions and defend her changing body.

“1. I was just leaving a workout class so maybe don’t assume things,” she wrote. “2. I am pregnant and literally growing a child. They’re going to hate to see me at 9 months.”

She also took a broader stance on how women are constantly judged regardless of how they choose to manage their bodies—especially during pregnancy.

“Damned if we do, damned if we don’t,” she said. “You’re beautiful no matter what your size is. You are not defined by your weight. You are allowed to gain weight while pregnant and you don’t have to bounce back in any timeline.”

She ended her message with a direct plea: “This is your PSA to stop commenting on women’s bodies or any body for that matter.”

Alaina Scott Announces Her Pregnancy

Scott announced her pregnancy on October 12 with a heartfelt Instagram post featuring her husband.

“THE BEST OF YOU + ME,” she captioned the photos. “For months, I’ve carried a tiny heartbeat inside me, one that has already changed mine in every possible way.”

Scott is the eldest daughter of Eminem, born to his ex, Dawn Scott, and adopted by the rapper during her mother’s struggle with addiction. Her younger sister, Hailie Jade, also recently became a mother.
