Havoc introduced a new Mobb Deep track titled “Against The World” during an appearance on the “Joe and Jada” podcast on Tuesday (September 9), giving listeners a first taste of the group’s upcoming album Infinite, which he revealed will drop on October 10.

The track, a blend of fresh verses from Havoc and unreleased vocals from the late Prodigy, sparked immediate reactions from the hosts.

“I can’t wait now,” said Fat Joe. “I might have to sneak in the offices or something, man, I got to get my hands on that s### now.”

Jadakiss added, “It sounds so refreshing, man. It sounds beautiful.”

The song, described by listeners as emotional and powerful, continues Mobb Deep’s legacy while honoring Prodigy’s voice and impact.

One listener wrote, “Yeah… hearing P got me in my feelings man. I’m ready for this one.”

Another added, “The old heads are literally saving New York rap.”

Infinite marks the first Mobb Deep album since 2014 and the first since Prodigy’s death in 2017.

The project is a tribute to his memory, built around vocals he recorded before his passing. The album is entirely produced by Havoc and The Alchemist.

On Monday (September 8), Nas teased the album with an Instagram video captioned, “@mobbdeepqb Against The World #Infinite coming soon.”

The album is part of Mass Appeal’s “Legend Has It…” series, which also features new music from DJ Premier, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, De La Soul and Big L.

Infinite is scheduled to arrive October 10, 30 years after the release of Mobb Deep’s 1995 classic The Infamous.
