Jermaine Dupri Releases 'Magic City' Album

GRAMMY-winning producer and Songwriters Hall of Famer Jermaine Dupri has officially released his full-length album Magic City today, September 12, via HYBE. The album arrives in tandem with the finale of STARZ’s acclaimed docuseries Magic City: An American Fantasy, which Dupri also executive produced, marking a cultural milestone where sound and storytelling come together.

The project features a lineup of powerful collaborations, including “Turn Around” with T.I., 2 Chainz, and Young Dro, and “Magic City Money” with JMoney, Sean Paul of the YoungBloodz, BunnaB, and Bankroll Ni. Earlier this week, Dupri dropped “This or That,” a record with Rich Homie Quan that serves as both a celebration of the late rapper’s legacy and a heartfelt tribute to his enduring impact on Atlanta’s culture.

The album’s centerpiece, “Atlanna” featuring CeeLo Green, captures the city’s pride, resilience, and spirit in true Atlanta fashion. With CeeLo’s soulful vocals layered over Dupri’s signature production, the track cements itself as an anthem for the city.

“This album is more than music — it’s Atlanta’s story,” says Dupri. “From celebrating Rich Homie Quan to working with CeeLo on ‘Atlanna,’ this project honors the city’s past, present, and future.”
