When the GWOAT steps into the ring, it’s only right that a boss walks with her.

Detroit’s own Claressa Shields will put her undisputed heavyweight crown on the line this Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena, and walking her to the ring will be none other than Maybach Music’s biggest boss, Rick Ross. The Miami-bred rap mogul announced via social media earlier this week, confirming his support for the hometown champ ahead of her showdown with Lani Daniels, live on DAZN.

With nearly 20 years in the game, Ross is known for classics like “Hustlin’,” “The Boss,” and “Aston Martin Music,” and his name rings bells across generations thanks to chart-topping collabs like “All I Do Is Win,” “I’m On One,” and “Monster.”

As for Shields, she’s walking in with history on her side. Earlier this year, she unified the undisputed title after defeating Danielle Perkins and added another layer to her legacy as the only three-weight undisputed champ in the four-belt era. With straps in five weight divisions under her belt, Shields is looking to deliver yet another dominant performance—this time with Rozay setting the tone.
