2K has officially launched Early Access for NBA 2K26, the newest installment in the acclaimed basketball simulation franchise. The Superstar Edition and Leave No Doubt Edition are now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Standard Edition and WNBA Edition, a GameStop exclusive in the U.S., will release worldwide on September 5, 2025, across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

Players on Gen 9 consoles can look forward to major updates, including enhanced skill-based gameplay, the integration of the WNBA into MyTEAM, a new MyCAREER storyline, and the addition of Crews in The City. The game also brings back Parks with fresh environments rotating each Season, blending nostalgia with innovation.
Powered by the all-new ProPLAY Motion Engine, NBA 2K26 delivers the most realistic on-court experience yet, with advanced offensive mechanics such as Enhanced Rhythm Shooting, Signature Post Shots, and no-dip catch-and-shoots.
MyCAREER: Out of Bounds offers a cinematic journey, guiding players from small-town beginnings to the NBA. MyTEAM sees the historic introduction of WNBA Player Cards, along with new modes like Breakout: Gauntlet and expanded 5v5 co-op games.
Additional highlights include a reimagined MyPLAYER Builder with tools like Build By Badges and Scouting Reports, as well as 30 unique offseason scenarios in MyNBA. Seasons return with fresh rewards every six weeks, kicking off with Season 1 on August 29.
NBA 2K26, developed by Visual Concepts and rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, is set to bring the deepest and most connected basketball gaming experience yet.
