What do Tinder, Kevin Gates, and Snapchat all have in common? They all collide in one Alabama creator’s viral story. User Fatboy (@fatboy6119) recently shared the story of his chaotic match on Tinder, and the wild twists that followed. Since dropping on the app, the video has already pulled in more than 461,000 views.
Fatboy swears it started like any other Tinder match. Her bio said she was looking for someone between 25 and 30, and he landed in that range. After some back-and-forth texts, they agreed to meet at a Tuscaloosa, Alabama mall, where she said her brother had dropped her off. All things were normal… until he asked about her music taste.
The Red Flags Were Flagging in 4K
“She goes, ‘I like Kevin Gates,’” Fatboy said. “So I was like, oh OK, who else do you listen to? Lil Wayne?” Her answer was the same. “‘Nah, I just listen to Kevin Gates. I just like Kevin Gates.’”
After that slightly awkward exchange, they saw a movie and ended the night with nothing more than a hug. However, she was quick to set up a second date, this time asking for something more private. She wanted a hotel, but Fatboy offered a friend’s place instead.
When the day arrived, he drove over blasting Kevin Gates to “get in the mindset.”
“I’m a big gangsta,’” he said. “You know, I’m getting ready.”
Her brother dropped her off again, they spent their time together, and then her brother returned to pick her up. That’s when the story veered into stranger territory.
She started sending him messages on Snapchat. First, with some specific compliments about his equipment. Then, she followed up with a request for photos, so she could “get a toy made in the exact size.” She ended with a suggestion to record their hookup next time.
At that point, the red flags were too loud to ignore. Fatboy admitted he backed off and ghosted her.
The Plot Twist Nobody Saw Coming
A couple of weeks went by, and Fatboy figured the whole thing was behind him, until a Facebook message from a stranger landed in his inbox. The man introduced himself as the woman’s fiancé.
According to him, he’d actually given her permission to sleep with someone else before marriage, but only if it was recorded. Since she hadn’t filmed it, she lied at first… until the truth eventually came out.
That’s when the fiancé made his wildest request: Run it back, and this time on camera.
“He messaged me on Facebook. He said it could be fixed. All I had to do was sleep with her again and let her record it,” Fatboy explained. “I was like, yeah, bud, I don’t want no part in that.”
The fiancé even tried to sweeten the deal with a cash offer, insisting Fatboy could help “fix” their relationship. Unfortunately for the fiancé, Fatboy was not going for it.
“Bud, y’all need help,” he concluded. “I don’t want any part in that.”
The comments section immediately lit up, with people pointing out the random mention of Kevin Gates in Fatboy’s story.
“Kevin Gates planned this whole thing I just can’t prove it,” one commenter joked.
Another said, “Kevin Gates and exclusively texting on sc should of been major red flags lol.”
Some were simply stunned by the wild story itself.
“You couldn’t have waterboarded this story out of me, but I’m glad you told it,” someone wrote.
“There were several points when I thought I knew where it was going and was completely wrong [loudly crying face emoji],” another admitted.
“I believe this is an original experience,” someone else said.
