Marcuxx Madd: Redefining EDM and Urban Sound with Vision and Precision

Byline: Connie Etemadi

Canadian artist Marcuxx Madd has been immersed in music his entire life. Known for blending EDM and Urban influences into a sound that’s both experimental and soulful, Marcuxx Madd is quickly carving out his own lane in the international music scene. As the founder of Albatros Music, he’s not only an artist but a visionary shaping the next generation of creative talent.

From early studio sessions to large-scale productions, Marcuxx Madd’s path has always revolved around sound. His versatility and attention to production quality have made him a respected figure in Montreal’s music culture. Over the years, he has organized major events featuring legendary acts such as Pete Rock and DJ Premier, further cementing his roots in both hip-hop and electronic circles.

His music has been featured on Much Music Canada and VEVO. Marcuxx Madd has also performed at major venues such as Ujo Night Club and TRIBE Club Montreal, drawing crowds who connect deeply with his energy and sound.

In 2024, Marcuxx Madd officially launched Albatros Record Label, a creative hub where artists can produce, collaborate, and innovate. The label’s focus on sonic integrity has led Marcuxx to work in top studios such as Metalworks Studios and Quad Studios, both recognized for their world-class production standards.

His upcoming album, CIGARE & SUCCESS, is set for release on January 6, 2026. Many of its tracks are mastered by Chris Crerar, the celebrated engineer behind artists like Prince, Nelly Furtado, and George Canyon. With over one million digital streams already under his belt, Marcuxx Madd’s growing reach reflects his ability to merge mainstream appeal with underground authenticity.

Marcuxx Madd’s newest single, Destined, features Davidii and Vimoksha, bringing together an international blend of EDM rhythm and melodic depth. The track was produced by Davidii, mixed by Marcuxx Madd at Albatros Music Record Label, and mastered by Chris Crerar at Metalworks Studios in Toronto. Although an official video has not yet been released, a one-minute teaser on TikTok has been well received by his followers on the platform.

The upcoming music video for Cities of Gold, part of the same album, continues Marcuxx Madd’s creative evolution. Produced in a cartoon style, it tells the story of two rappers traveling through time to explore cities made of gold in different eras. The project ties into a trilogy of EDM tracks that reflect both his imagination and technical precision.

Marcuxx Madd’s sound has been described by blogs such as Kindline Magazine, The Tunes Club, Cali Post, and Artist Rack as expressive, versatile, and rich in emotion. His vocals carry a softly raspy tone that adapts seamlessly across genres, from R&B to hip-hop to experimental EDM.

Listeners can discover his full catalog on Spotify, Instagram, TikTok, and VEVO, as well as across all major platforms including Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Deezer.

With every release, Marcuxx Madd proves that true artistry lies in evolution. His ability to blend genres, innovate through production, and deliver emotionally charged performances makes him one of Canada’s most promising new voices in electronic and urban music.
