Today, Unrivaled, presented by Samsung Galaxy, announced a major expansion ahead of its second season, introducing two new clubs and a dedicated development player pool. Breeze Basketball Club and Hive Basketball Club will add 12 new athletes to league rosters, while six more will join a season-long development pool designed to elevate young talent.
To accommodate the additional teams, Unrivaled will introduce a fourth night of weekly games, ensuring each club plays twice per week. The revised schedule will also eliminate back-to-back games for players, with full details expected later this year.
“Expanding a year earlier than planned is a testament to the strong business model we’ve built and the potential Unrivaled has for long-term success,” said Luke Cooper, Unrivaled President of Basketball. “We outperformed every goal we set for the league in year one, and with the incredible talent we have returning paired with the influx of new stars, it was a no brainer to add two more clubs this season.”
The development pool will provide players with daily training, access to performance staff, and the same resources as full-time roster members. Athletes will compete in Unrivaled’s signature 3-on-3 full-court format while staying prepared to step in as relief players. Once their assignments end, they will return to the pool to remain game-ready.
Unrivaled’s second season tips off in January 2026. Fans can follow updates at unrivaled.basketball and on social media at @UnrivaledBasketball.
