Cardi B is never one to hold back, and her latest interview has everyone talking. Sitting down with Kelly Rowland on September 15, the Bronx rapper opened up about trust, betrayal, and the complicated dynamics of supporting women in the rap game.

Cardi explained that she often reaches out privately to up and coming artists when she sees them facing backlash online. “When I see a new girl coming up, I’ll slide in her DMs like, hey, this is temporary,” she said. For her, those messages are meant to be a reminder that hate fades, a gesture of solidarity shaped by her own battles with public scrutiny.

But that generosity hasn’t always been rewarded. Cardi admitted that some of the very women she’s encouraged later crossed a line with Offset, her soon to be ex husband. “I have done that to girls that ended up messing with my man,” she revealed.

That betrayal, she added, has changed the way she chooses who to support. “You gotta know who you being nice to,” Cardi said, noting how sympathy can backfire when jealousy or opportunism gets involved.

The moment sparked both laughter and reflection during the conversation. Kelly Rowland responded, “It’s not funny, but it’s how you’re delivering it,” highlighting Cardi’s mix of humor and blunt honesty. Her candid confession showed how messy loyalty and trust can get in both personal relationships and the music industry.
